CES 2026: Live updates and gadget reveals during the biggest tech event of the year

We’re barely a week into 2026, and it’s already shaping up to be a hectic start to the year. In tech, the momentum kicked off with the 2026 Consumer Electronics Show (CES), which officially opened on January 6 in Las Vegas. Thanks to a packed schedule of pre-show events and press conferences, CES 2026 has already felt like a full week-long affair.

Monday was press day, when a wide range of companies took the stage to present their latest announcements. You can scroll through our liveblog below for a full recap of everything that’s happened so far. On Monday, Lego introduced its new Smart Brick technology, while NVIDIA revealed fresh AI initiatives focused on autonomous vehicles. Even before that, Samsung hosted its First Look event on Sunday night, unveiling new products across its home entertainment and appliance lineups.

Yesterday, we shared our hands-on impressions of the Pebble Round smartwatch and the Index 01 AI ring. We also encountered a steady stream of robots, including Dreame’s slightly unsettling robot vacuum concept and Lovense’s Emily “companion” doll. Lenovo held a major press conference that brought NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang, Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan, and AMD CEO Lisa Su onto the same stage, alongside several other high-profile figures from the tech world and beyond.

With the press conferences now wrapped up, the focus has shifted to in-person demos. Engadget has a team on the ground working through pre-show events, getting hands-on with new gadgets, and sharing their experiences so you can follow along from anywhere.
